Spinach Pull Apart Bread

Spinach Pull apart Bread (great for SUPER BOWL GAME DAY!)

Ingredients
3 tblsp butter melted
1 ½ tsp Garlic Salt
8 oz cream cheese softened
¼ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup parmesan cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 9 oz box frozen chopped spinach thawed, squeezed to drain then finely chopped
½ tsp basil (optional)
¼ tsp black pepper
2 8 oz cans  rolls of Garlic crescent rolls

1 cup of marinara sauce (heated if desired)

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Using Celebrating home Bundt pan,. In small bowl mix butter and 1/2 teaspoon of the garlic salt; set aside.

In medium bowl, mix cream cheese mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, spinach, basil, pepper and remaining 1 teaspoon garlic salt until blended; set aside.

Unroll crescent dough; separate into 16 triangles. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise to make total of 32 small triangles. Stretch or press 1 triangle slightly, being careful not to tear it. Spoon 1 tablespoon spinach mixture onto center of triangle; pull dough around mixture into a ball. Press edges to seal. Repeat with remaining triangles.

Roll each ball in butter mixture; layer in pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes. Place heatproof serving plate upside down over pan; turn plate and pan over. Remove pan. Cool 10 minutes longer. Serve warm with marinara sauce.

Mexican Coffee in a Bean Pot!

CELEBRATING HOME with My BEAN POT!

GREAT DRINK on Cold days, when entertaining guests or for my Superbowl Party!
Ingredients:
3/4 cup coffee dark roast coffee
2 tsp cinnamon
6 cups water 
1 cup milk
1/3 cup chocolate syrup
2 tbsp light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract.

Garnish Whip cream and cinnamon

Place coffee and cinnamon in filter basket  of coffee maker. Brew coffee as normal.

In Bean Pot Blend remaining ingredients except garnish. Stir til blended. 
(For microwave version of this recipe Heat this mixture in microwave for 5 minutes on high. )

Add Brewed Coffee, Stir til blended.  For oven version Bake @ 375 for 1 hour.

Place in serving mugs. Garnish Makes 6 servings . 

(Should be room in your bean pot to double this recipe)

BEAN POT MAC n CHEESE

1,2,3,4 Bean Pot Mac and Cheese

1 stick melted butter
2 cups uncooked macaroni
3 cups shredded cheese
4 cups of milk
Combine all in the Bean Pot. Cover with lid and place in 350 degree oven for about 60-80 minutes.

GIRL SCOUT COOKIE BEAN POT CAKE

GIRL SCOUT COOKIE BEAN POT CAKE

1 Chocolate cake mix, Moist Supreme or Deluxe
1 Tub Chocolate frosting
10 - 12 Thin Mints, Caramel Delights or Do Si Dos
Empty dry cake mix into Bean Pot. Add eggs, oil and water, in amounts according to package. Stir well with a spoon, being sure to break up lumps. Fold cookies into batter. Drop 6 - 8 heaping spoonfuls of frosting on top of batter. Put the lid on your Bean Pot and microwave 7½ - 10 minutes. Microwaves vary in cooking temperatures so be sure to check if done at 7½ minutes. (Cake will have a soft chocolate bottom). When done, let sit for 10 minutes, then gently fold frosting through cake.

** You could also do the lemon cookies with lemon cake and icing. **

** If you prefer to bake in oven bake @ 350 degrees for the time specified for cupcakes on package. Check to see if done before removing fr oven. Cooking times may vary.
